For most of the people who are under stress, they practice meditation. They find time to relax and exercise. It sure does definitely help them when done regularly. People also seek medical advice and go to psychotherapy sessions. It is said to be that many of the common causes of the disorder appears to be coming from people's emotional imbalances. Now, there are pharmaceuticals that you can take to help calm you down, but these have bad side effects and can cost a lot of money. For people who want a healthier option, herbal remedies can be a great way to go. Don't drive yourself nuts. For the most part, anxiety is not linked directly to any serious disorder. Everyone worries about something, everyone feels stressed out every now and again and it's not unheard of for it to display itself as anxiety.

There are many symptoms of anxiety including sweaty palms, rapid heartbeat, blushing, feeling dizzy or faint, shallowness of breath, nausea or even a sense of tunnel vision. One or more of these symptoms often appear to be the trigger for anxiety but in fact it is thoughts, often subconscious thoughts, which directly precede the experience of these feelings of anxiety. Our mood and therefore our ability to control anxiety is improved drastically with regular aerobic exercise and muscle stretching. When we exercise our bodies our blood not only becomes well aerated but we also release a feel good chemical in our system called endorphins. Endorphins put us in a good mood and well aerated blood is essential to increase the body's ability to remove lactic acid from the brain allowing us to control the level of anxiety.

Your beliefs and the way you think decide how sensitive you are to stress. Your mind-set is partially influenced by genetics and partially by the environment that you were raised in. If your parents were anxious and panicky, you're likely to be as well. Anxiety, whether occasional or chronic, is a very common problem. It affects literally millions of people and can have terrible and prohibitive results. If the problem is recognized as anxiety, on of the first steps that people take is to either attempt to deal with it on their own or to go to the family physician for a prescription. If anxiety is left untreated, it causes untold life-long suffering. Persons with Social Anxiety Disorder are more likely to suffer from some type of Depression, Substance Abuse and other Anxiety Disorders Sufferers of Social Anxiety are extremely vulnerable to rejection and criticism, real or imaginary.

With the term self conscious it makes it sound like the person in being too focused on themselves, or they are selfish people. This is definitely not true for anyone who is self conscious they see themselves from the outside. Rather than observing the world they are stuck outside themselves, observing their own self critically. Social anxiety has its origins from two basic causes. It can be developed in an individual if he or she has been the witness of a very tragic occurrence. Such occurrences can include accidents, fire or more commonly, loss of loved ones.
